June 29, 2015 1st Transfer - New Language & New Address

I'm going to be needing a little extra in my account for this month, because we don't have a laundry room in our apartment. So we have to go to the laundromat to our laundry.

The weather is SOOOOOOO HOT!!!!!!! I'm dying in it everyday. The people that we see don't have AC's.  So I'm dying in the lessons, which is kinda funny and sad at the same time.

President said that he might not keep the Burmese area open after this transfer, which is kinda sad.  I understand why though; the people aren't really progressing like we would like. It's almost been a year and we have had little success.

We are teaching this family who is from a tribe called Karen, but is spoke like Koren. They all have baptismal dates that we set for them yesterday. Funny moment -  so we were teaching this family yesterday and we were talking about the three kingdoms. One of the sons was like "I want to go to the Telestial kingdom".  We explained what it was.and he was like "well I don't care I still want to go there. It's away from everyone and everything." We all just started laughing. It was really funny. He's a really funny kid.  Then we asked them if they would be baptized and his brother just blurted out "No. He's just too lazy. He doesn't want to give up his video games." Neh Mae is one of the members that they are living with right now until they can get there own place. She is our interpreter for them. They are from the same tribe. She was just laughing.  She interpreted for them and they all started laughing. It was just a really cool night even though it was like a SAUNA inside their house. It went really good. I'll have to send the rest of the story in my letter.
