November 10, 2015

Hey everyone. I hope your week went well. Mine sure did. Okay first off I would like to apologize for the letter last week. It was really weird day and it was a very short letter. So this week hopefully you enjoy the letter this week.

Okay story time. On Sunday we were driving on the Paul Highway and we drove by a house and we randomly saw a llama on the side of the road walking down it. Eating the bushes while he walked down the Highway. We giggled.

Okay next story. On Sunday for dinner a member gave us some Cheesecake in little cupcake holders. We had two left and we didn't want to eat them. So we were at another members house and texted the Elders and found out they were next door. We decided to give them the Cheesecake. We texted them that they were going to be on the hood of the car so to not ruin them. Well guess what. They didn't see the text and they drove off and the poor cheesecake splattered all over there window. They got mad at us for giving them to them. ELDERS!!! I don't understand them. We did something nice for them and they get mad. I think they just don't appreciate us.!! 😇 Because we're angels with the halo's and they are what some of the sisters call the devil.😈 Ha Ha. I don't understand this whole rival thing between us. I don't think we are. We're Precious!!! Ha ha ha ha 😝. If you know what I mean!!

Okay so with the driving. Sister Rhiner and I switched driving just for this transfer. It has snowed a couple of times, but hasn't stuck to the ground. It's freezing here. I'm warm for the the most part. It's suppose to be snowing the next couple of days so it's going to be freezing.  So thanks for sending a package. Sister Rhiner said if you could send a couple of Beanies she would LOVE you forever - her words not mine. Ha Ha. She is in current need of some. I don't think I need anything except for Leggings. Some really warm ones.

Oh and we're moving for good this time. Sister Wayment, the sister that we are living with, is feeling guilty about having her kids over all the time and having to make us keep moving. So we are having to move into a two bedroom house. We don't know when we are leaving, probably sometime next week, before Thanksgiving. But I'll keep you updated.

It's sad to hear Mom that you're sick. I hope you get better. It's so good to see the pictures of Aunt Peggy and Cousin Ronda. I am glad they actually came and Chase was able to bring the girls up to meet them. I bet that was a cool experience for the girls and everyone else. Maybe since they think that the way papa has lived they might want to live the same way and investigate the church. Maybe they might have found something that they need and want to learn more. I'm so happy that they were able to come and visit Papa. I bet he really appreciated it.

Okay now for investigators. Jose, we haven't been able to see him since we last taught him, which was right before transfers.

Natassha: We saw her on Thursday and we shared a message. We were kinda bold with her and told her just to get baptized. I really think we got through to her.

Patty and Chuck: I haven't talked about them before.  They are a couple that we have been working with for a long time. They aren't married. So we are really working towards that. We were really REALLY bold with Patty last week and told her that she needed to get married and that we both wanted to be there for their wedding. So who knows if they actually will.

We dropped a couple of investigators this week.  It was more like they dropped us!  But oh well! We can find more if we want and that's what we are trying to do. The ward members are really good at giving us referrals. They keep us busy for the most part. Pray for us!!! PLEASE!!!! We definitely need it.

8 months Guys!!!!3 Temple Trips! Can you guys believe it? I know I can't! I went to the temple today. When I was in the Celestial room, I felt so much peace in there. I honestly knew that I was here on a mission for a reason. I thanked my Heavenly Father for letting me come on one. I'm so blessed that I have a temple so close in my mission! Plus I get to go to the temple every three months. I couldn't have asked for a better mission! I know i might not be in a foreign country but Idaho is too foreign for me.! I know the people here are waiting for me. I'm just the missionary that they need, to help them get back to there Heavenly Father. I know for a fact that I've learned so much from being on a mission that is going to prepare me for the future. I'm looking forward to it. I'm close to half way! I never thought that I would be this far.

I hope you like the little quote from President Hinckley. It's one of my Favorites. It means so much to me. I hope you have a great week and I also hope that I answered all of your questions.

Love you guys!

Love Sister Chelsea Blake
