Letter to President Curtis

Dear President,

I just want to say that I really like the Zone Conference this last week. It was exactly what I needed. It was really good to go to the temple as well. I think it made the week seem longer, but I really look forward to going to the temple every time we are able to. I was reading something from my mom that she sent me and I thought I would share it with you.

"There are a lot of happy people out there that don't have the church. I think that sometimes we think that people aren't happy unless they are members. We shouldn't assume that. The gospel can help make life better and also happier. 'President Hinckley said for people to bring what you have and we can make it better. You are teaching people that may have heard of the church already and may have their own opinions. Teach by love and example. Let them know you love them the way they are. They will feel the love and want to know more. The love of Christ is what will convert them.'"

That just came to mind, so I thought I would share it. It's really true though. We can't assume people aren't happy because they aren't members. That's why we are here is to help people that are around us come closer to the Savior. Help them realize that the true gospel is here on the earth again and we can be even more happier than we are now here on earth. Also, that families can be together. There is so much more for us if we have the gospel in our lives. We can have the Savior in our lives. We can rely on His Atonement when we need it. That's why it's there, for us to use it when we are in need.

This week was really good. We has some cancellations, but we were able to stay busy. We are getting there. I'm glad we were able to have a good week.
