NEW AREA - PAUL January 25, 2016

Dear family!

Okay - so this last week was transfers and I have an AWESOME companion. Like I said last week her name is Sister Johnson and she is from Sacramento California. She's pretty fun to be around.

So this last week there a couple of things that happened that were pretty crazy. So on Thursday we got into a car accident. It is pretty crazy just thinking about it. We got hit on the passenger side, so I felt it the most. We were going across an intersection to get gas and it was our turn to go. We went across and this old man (and when I say old, I mean 95 years old) was turning and ran a red light and hit the back bumper on the passenger side. So we pulled off next to Burger King and the guy kept driving. Sister Johnson got mad and we called Elder Coon and he told us to get the license plate and then call 911. That is exactly what we did. We got the license plate, called the police, and waited for them to come. It took a total of 1 1/2 hours to get everything squared out. In the meantime the officer who went to track the car down came back and told us that the old man didn't know he hit us, but there was a mark on his car. That's so crazy that the old man didn't even know that he hit us. So he is now getting his license revoked. NO damage was done to us, but the car is just a little banged up. There is no need to worry. Elder Coon said that we were the perfect example of what to do in a situation like this. We were happy about that.

So this week I made a goal to wake up everyday at 6:30 am. GUESS what? I have been able to wake up at that time. The funny part about it is that I would wake up to Sister Johnson's alarm clock which is like 5 minutes fast. So I have been getting up at 6:25 am! Oh well I have been doing really good and getting up so therefore I have had time to do my hair.

This week has been busy, busy, and Busy! Well today I have another doctors appointment for my wrist.!😁 They weren't able to find anything out, but they are going to be doing some more testing on my wrists I believe. They did take X-Rays on my neck. They think that I might have a pinched nerve. NOT good at all! So next time I get transferred to Twin Falls they are going to test me for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Don't ask me what that means because I have no idea. All I know is that it has to do something with my neck. Dr. Petersen said that this might be the reason why I am shaking so much in my hands and why they are going numb and hurting so much all the time. He also said that I just need to continue to take tylenol. So hopefully we will be able to finally figure what's going on.

I have met so many people who are less active and want nothing to do with the church. It is so sad that they don't know that this will help them to be happy. I just keep thinking of those who don't have that opportunity to know who Christ is. I am so blessed to know that My Savior died for me. That I can one day be able to return to my Heavenly Father and be with my family for forever. I have the gospel in my life and I honestly don't know what I would do without it in my life. I know that this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I know that he saw God the Father and The Savior Jesus Christ.  I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

I hope you guys have a wonderful week and love you all LOTS 💕😘

Love Sister Chelsea Blake
